Meanwhile, in developed countries, we often get to spend hours each pretending to work if we're lucky enough to not be in a Retail/Fast Food job that makes you stay standing for hours at a time while you face the whims of the customers.

If no one got "stuck in a dead end minimum wage job" society would literally collapse. People need to stop seeing these jobs as a failure of the person who has them. These peoples' lives being shit are a failure of society unable to properly compensate the people who make our lives possible
