The nuclear power thing is ridiculous. It'll actually cost LESS money, resources and effort to provide the same amount of energy via renewable energies.
Except, numb-nuts, renewable energy couldn't compare at the time, the USSR pioneered such technology first. Also please inform me how you'll power an SSN or SSBN without a Nuclear Reactor.
